About Me
I was born in suburban Connecticut and have lived in Boston for over eight years. I am starting this blog as a way for me to document and share my life with you, and also share any travel, beauty, lifestyle and wellness tips I have gathered along the way.
Professionally, I work full-time in public relations at a Boston-based global asset manager and am a fitness instructor at Barre Groove. In my free-time, you can find me watching the Food Network and later pretending to be a chef on Chopped in my kitchen, going to yoga, working out, reading or trying a new restaurant. I live with my boyfriend Ben and our best friend Connor and life is a blast with the two of them. One of my biggest guilty pleasures is going to Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Homegoods back, to back, to back. My other guilty pleasure is Dominos... you can ask me about my go-to order later :) My favorite quote is "fear only exists in the mind," and I try to rule my life with that motto. Life is too short to be overrun by fear. I am always pushing myself to try something that scares me the most. In 2016, I competed in Miss Massachusetts USA (and placed in the Top 15), which was always a secret life-long dream of mine that I was too afraid to admit. In March 2017, I auditioned for and did not make the Patriots Cheerleaders and in July 2017, I made the Celtics Dancers and performed with them for two years. Without embracing and rejecting fear, I would not be where I am, and I encourage you all to do the same. Enjoy my site! Stay fearless, Nicole |
